I have a black frame with bronze lenses. The things have a great look and sometimes even look cooler than without sunglasses. For example, I recently traveled to St. Pete, Florida and have personally noticed that the scenery becomes even more colorful and vibrant in bright sunlight. Looking at the clouds I could see every crest and bulge, while without them they looked much flatter. They also make a difference in the water, where walking along the pier I was able to track the dolphin silhouettes near the surface much better than without glasses. I'm not trying to say that they will give you a superhuman appearance. Visibility or even that these benefits are universal only the optics are great and certainly helped my vision in some scenarios. When it comes to sun protection, they do a great job. Although there are times when it's very bright and I feel like I could use a little more darkness. You might want to have another pair of sunglasses for this purpose, but they work great 98% of the time. I will also note that they don't block air very well in high winds or fast movement. So if that bothers you, you might want to consider fitness goggles designed to offer that kind of protection. Those issues aside, I would definitely recommend them if they fit what you're looking for. if you can afford to foot the bill. They are definitely expensive for sunglasses, it's up to you to decide if they're worth it. --- Update June 24, 2017 Unfortunately, I dropped my original pair in the river last summer. I missed them so much that the next day I ordered another pair along with the float. Lesson learned. I still love them and recommend them!
