Review on 🏍️ VSYSTO Motorcycle Dash Cam: Waterproof, 160° Fish Eye, Dual Full HD 1080P Cameras, Night Vision Recorder with 2'' Screen by Suhas Payton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Installed on a 2008 FJR 1300.

This review was copied from a post I shared on my FJR Facebook forum. Okay, some final thoughts and first impressions. First of all, the simplicity and quality of the installation comes first. There was no need to extend the rear camera cable, and the p12V power cable and ground wire are protected from overheating! The wire is about 50 feet long LOL so I cut it off. The wired remote control is not aesthetically pleasing. I know that building wireless dial-up will likely increase the price, so I'll look into that. The hardware for mounting the camera is excellent. The main unit or what some call the DVR is a quality unit and for the most part waterproof. The only place that can be compromised is the SD card cover and the fact that it's under the seat doesn't make that a problem. As for the application and firmware for wireless, I have to give a 2! Although it is functional, the entries in the application are buggy. I've found that if you save the clip to your photos app, it works fine. When you try to watch a video on a device like an iPad, it becomes spasmodic and pixelated. Even if you remove the SD card and install it on your laptop or Mac, it is very user-friendly. Overall I would give this kit a rating of 3.5-4.0 based on its intended use, this is NOT an action camera! Oh, by the way, I turned off the audio recording! Only wind noise from the wired remote.
