Review on OutdoorMaster 16PSI High Pressure SUP Air Pump: Efficient Inflator for Stand Up Paddleboards by Abdullah Huan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The most powerful battery-powered air pump we've independently tested from Revain

OutdoorMaster launched two new pumps "Dolphin" and "Kit". Both have some interesting features. For starters, the new "Kit" is a multifunctional, battery-powered SUP pump with enough power to wirelessly inflate three (3) paddleboards up to 12psi and enough power to deflate them. . And a DRAMATIC improvement over the first generation sperm whale pump. Features we love: The battery pulls enough juice on a full charge to inflate and deflate three paddle boards at up to 12psi. Wireless freedom freed. Exit the parking lot and finally pump the paddleboard away from the car on the grassy area. The time to inflate a 10.6 x 33" x 6" standup paddleboard from empty to 12psi is just under 7 minutes (see video). One of the fastest SUP pumps we've ever tested. If you forget to charge the battery, it has a built-in 12V 15A power cord so you can keep going and working. The plastic casing of the compressor is always cool to the touch. Good fit and finish with easy to understand individual function keys and a medium sized super bright LCD screen. The 1.8m power cord is long enough to be useful and practical. And the integrated cable/charger accessory box is great. - Accurate digital pressure gauge pumps up to the set pressure and then shuts off automatically. 16psi maximum, which is above most SUP manufacturers' recommendation of 12-15psi. Features we don't like: - It's a whale pump. It's feature-packed and takes up little space compared to other more compact options on the market. - The tube is stiff and it takes some time to position the pump, tube and SUP so everything is aligned. Manufacturer Recommendations - The additional 20L reusable dry bag, large enough to hold the entire pump and hose, helps keep the trunk clean and tidy and will be a useful accessory for most enthusiasts.
