Massive memory leak Ambient light sensor
I only had problems with the Microsoft Surface 2 laptop that I received. I've had multiple blue screens of death. Whenever I came back to it after not using it for a while, it was unresponsive and required a reboot. After a few days of problems I found a solution on the internet, disable the Surface Intersil Ambient Light Sensor, watch the attached video to see how it works. Also note how much memory is freed when this device is disabled. The one star rating is because you don't have to look for similar solutions for a new laptop. I'd rather have the computer dead on arrival than only partially running.
