We have two identical humidifiers that require this type of filter. We have been using OEM (Holmes) brand filters for about three years and have been satisfied with the performance of these units. In 2020 I bought a pack of 6 VEVA brand filters and used four of them last winter. With OEM filters, each of our humidifiers empties a full water tank within 24 hours and keeps indoor humidity at 30-50%. When using VEVA filters, about 1/3 of the water remains in the tanks after 24 hours. This drop in efficiency is noticeable and measurable. In the future I will buy Holmes brand filters even if they cost a little more.
