Man these are really sharp. You can only judge that they are of high quality by looking at the packaging, they came in a robust plastic case. Even the tip is sharp, which makes sense since they're a lot easier to cut through plastic. Based on dollar shears, they're much better. I honestly forgot how good a pair of scissors could be if they were a little better quality. The grip is good and my only complaint is that the thumb hole is a bit small, but you get used to it quickly and I think it helps with accuracy. Great scissors for the job and although I rarely use them for sewing they are great for cutting fabric or cardboard!
