I bought 4 sets (40) of these to show our annual holiday videos which I send to family and friends. Out of 40, I used 34 and recorded everything with no problems. The only downside is that the write speed is around 5-6MB/s, so the 12g transfer time for large video files was around 20 minutes x 34 = 680 minutes. Luckily I was able to use 4 of our computers to copy at the same time, which reduced the total time. I tested the playback and all videos played fine with no stuttering. So bottom line, it's reliable, but very slow.
