First. The thing is getting warm. really warm. It is a heavy, almost quilt-like blanket. I like a weighted duvet. others may find it too difficult. The problem lies in the controllers. For beginners. are they blue and not white? Second, the wires are about a foot shorter for a king bed (another reviewer commented on this and I should have listened). Also, the controllers themselves are too light. They don't sit flat because the weight of the wires actually tilts them backwards. Pressing the controls is a bit of a struggle. And finally. The controllers themselves are a bit clunky. The keys are a bit clunky. There's no backlight, so if you wake up in the middle of the night trying to adjust the temperature, you'll know what settings you're using. Therefore, it's also impossible to know if it's on (or off) without pressing the button. It seems trivial, but it's actually quite annoying. We love the blanket. It's thick and warm. controls. not as much. With some improvements this will be a great electric blanket.
