Review on Enhanced Nail Clip 580 Swiss Army Knife by Victorinox Swiss Army by Larry Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have this because I keep losing my nail clippers and I'm sick of indifference.

Clippers do a good job despite being small and the cutting edges are curved. The clipper storage and deployment mechanism is plastic (similar to unreinforced nylon?), but the clipper is designed to fold out into a lever. The jackknife and scissors are some of the smallest I've seen, but for something on a keychain, they do the job. The nail file was a disappointment to be honest because while the rough steel surface works well, it is on the wrong side of the file's blade, forcing you to strike with the end of the pocket knife's body. If the file had more than one surface, or if the file surface was on the other side, this would work better because then you could move the blade more freely. The most surprising aspect of this was how strong the wire was. The ring is attached to the attachment loop. It feels like some kind of nickel-plated steel. Very durable, it's pretty hard to bump into anything else. So if you attach it to something, it stays secure.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Slightly torn
