I placed three on blowing behind the cover of the case in the front. The rpm drops to around 400 when the temperature drops. It is completely inaudible, and the volume level is just right. When under severe strain, the speed increases to 1000, and the only sound that can be heard is the passage of air. It was not feasible to spin up to all of the advertised 2100 rpm in real tasks, as they are controlled automatically by the BIOS, based on the temperature. In order to accomplish this, it is required to make it very hot inside. After a single attempt at manual acceleration, the air flow makes a lot of noise, but the motors are completely silent.
