Avoid this at all costs. I should have paid more attention to the many bad reviews on here, but I've used an old Grundig FM/AM/SW field radio before and thought it was still fine. I didn't do a thorough research to find out that Grundig was bought out in the early '00s and who owns them now is just branding and making junk. AM is decent but many stations are still fuzzy. With SW it's a wonder if I can find something while my old radio got me at least a few channels in the same area. The real hit is FM - this thing can hardly compete with some of the most popular FM stations in the area! You might think that if you spend sixty bucks on a radio, the least it can get is NPR. Instead it's just overwhelming noise with distant voices. At first I thought it was defective until I started reading the reviews and found out that this company sells poor quality products. It feels cheap, the tuner already makes a grinding/creaking noise when I use it, and the beep it makes is annoying. Don't buy this radio, even if it's free at the flea market.
