Nice Album

I thought it was common knowledge that a 12x12 album can hold 12x12 sheets, but it was actually 12x12. I just wanted to throw it out. Dimensions: 15.5" x 12.75" x 3" Capacity: I have one with 63 sheets. There are 63 page sleeves with at least 3 layers: a piece of cardboard and photos on each side (no decoration etc.) 63 is a bit much in it IMO (I was trying to get to the end of the year before starting a new album) but I think 50-55 sideguards with maps and pictures would be enough I have 12 x 12 sideguards from used several different brands: American Crafts, We R Memory Keepers and a few other brands, that I had on hand (they were unbranded and/or generic). Each of them fitted perfectly. Although the album is beautiful. I have one in brown and one in blue that I use to keep old photos of my family (early 1900's). You can put a lot of photos here and I like the soft cover and richness of colors. I also like a small window with the image in front of it. It's pretty solid and I haven't had any issues with misaligned D-rings or anything. Cap on and he protects you. - He's huge. I mean its thickness/capacity. I thought it would be nice to collect as many old photos as possible in one album, but I didn't take into account how difficult it is or how difficult it would be to flip through an entire album. Just something to note. - I would like, that it has some sort of tag on the side so it can be easily identified once it's on the bookshelf. Never mind and I can always add my own, I just want it to be. This is a really good album. It has a traditional/refined look and I think it goes well with my old black and white photos.
