This is a large center speaker. Basically they took two 6.2 bookshelf speakers and connected them together. I think the mistake they made was the two bass ports on the sides. This causes the speaker to produce a dull "tinny" effect not found on out-of-this-world bookshelves. In my opinion you need a more natural (sealed case) speaker for your center, since not much bass is sent to the center anyway. In short: buy debut bookshelves or 6.2 towers for your fronts, but opt for a high-end airtight enclosure for your center channel.
