I have been using these ears since the last century (if memory serves, well, since 2022 at most), during all this time the sound has not worsened in the slightest, the wires have not frayed anywhere. I use it constantly for an MP3 player, and for playing games on a computer, and for connecting them to a HiFi amplifier. The only thing that has fallen into almost complete disrepair during this time is the ear pads, but, on the other hand, this is not surprising. In general, when I am going to change, I will buy only the same model.
