Ok let me begin by saying how difficult it is to find a good pair of trunks, especially in brick and mortar stores. For a guy like me, at 6'4 260lbs I can't find them, ever. As a former athlete, I have thick legs and a rear end to match. My tummy is a little larger than I'd like it, but I usually fit into 40's in pants. The key is always do they have enough ROOM in them. The skinnywear trend is a dagger for guys like me. And that's where these come in.I bought a 3x, based on comments from other buyers and also from the size chart provided on Revain for the trunks. They are PERFECT. I like my shorts baggy, I don't want my pants to squeeze and legs and bunch up when I move. These don't! They're roomy enough for me, and I love them.Second, they're nearly weightless! Quick-dry is key (no one wants chaffing). I love the material. I haven't gotten them wet yet and I'm curious if they will suction to my body and show a little too much, but we'll see on that. They're comfortable enough dry to wear around the house for sure.Third, the mesh. Some trunks I've gotten have a mesh that's so restrictive and tight that they had to be cut out or the would shred my legs in way-too-small leg holes. Not these. It is supportive, yet not tight and binding. I probably won't cut out the mesh on these.I rated a 5, because I'm so relieved to find some trunks I actually like to wear and that fit. Miracle! Check these out, big guys, you won't regret it.
