Review on πŸ’» Sabrent Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station - 60W Power Delivery Charging, Windows/MacOS Compatible - Dual-4K Display (DS-TH3C) by Michael Mendoza

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works on my Macbook Pro. However, there is no reserve for non-tb3 devices.

UPDATE - Downgraded from 5 stars to 3 stars - Windows Tower without Thunderbolt 3: I just moved this home from my office to use on my Windows Tower and it completely fails. I can't get the blue light flashing, which means no data is getting through, so this thing is basically useless. It uses USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C. It's the best among Thunderbolt 3 and it just doesn't transfer data over it. It's the only dock I've ever had that isn't backwards compatible - I'm not even asking for a display, just a mouse or something. So yeah, if you don't have Thunderbolt 3, it's no use at all. However, it's still good for my work Macbook or if I ever get a Thunderbolt 3 expansion card for my PC. but for some reason you're constantly looking for USB-C docks that don't let you use dual monitor for Mac, but are just as expensive as Thunderbolt 3 docks that do. After months of not having a free port on my Mac due to my dual monitors, I gave up and bought it when it was on sale. Problem solved. It does exactly what I want it to do: A USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) cable plugs into my Macbook Pro and I get the following from it: - 60W charging, just like the brick that came with my MBP - Two external monitors. , while my built-in screen serves as a third monitor - all other ports on the dock (USB ports, LAN ports, etc.)
