I own a 2014 Subaru Forester. This vehicle has three (3) vehicle charging (cigarette lighter) ports. I have some equipment that I use in these ports (and some of it dates back to when I owned a 2001 Honda Civic). I have NEVER had a problem with car chargers coming into these ports. So far. This is < USB Car Charger -C - 60W Fast USB Car Charger, 3-Port PD3.0 & QC4.0 Car Charger for USB-C Laptop, MacBook, Surface Pro, iPhone, iPad Pro and more > [ https://www.amazon.com/com/gp/product/B093BHS26C ] just doesn't fit in one of the three ports on my Forester. I'm sure the same would have happened to my old Honda Civic. It doesn't fully plug in (no connection) and its indicator doesn't light up no matter how I try to plug it in. And that's a try on all three ports. When I placed it next to another working charger, it turned out to be too long and the wrong shape, at least for my car. Obviously it's not powering anything plugged into it. So as far as I understand it's useless. If it doesn't fit my Forester's ports, I'm sure there will be many other vehicles that it won't.
