It says hold for 5 seconds until it starts flashing. he never blinked! When trying to pair the device again, the device says: press and hold for 5 seconds until it blinks, NEVER blinks until you take your finger off the button. I have to send this back as it is very dangerous to use if the lamp turns on without the remote control.
