All the tools in the kit worked really well although I wish I had a plastic spatula. Tweezers were especially helpful when removing these tiny bands. I have two sets of joycons so I knew I would have a backup if I messed up one. There are a few spots in the renovation where it's really annoying, so yeah, study, be patient, pray for quick fingers. Use these tweezers to persuade some things. I only had to clean the L knob, which of course means you have to take the whole thing apart. But with the help of these tools I was able to assemble it and I'm sure it will work now. My latch on the right is broken. But I'm not sure I'll replace it. It broke because I dropped everything and the joystick flew away. But every effort was made to break this piece and throw it away. Who cares if it's a little loose now? Better than sending all the power to the switch itself. The toolkit is great and I can change it if I want. It's definitely something to do with it.
