Review on πŸ”² Uchida LV-XGCP65 Extra-Giga Craft Punch, Scalloped Circle - 3.5-Inch Punch Size by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 3 out of 5

BIG and not my favorite.

In the preface to this review I state that I am new to strikes. I have purchased several stamps from several other companies but I needed a large one for future projects. Since I only saw the silhouette of the mold before I bought it, I was shocked at the size of the stamp when I opened the package. So far the Little b (my personal favourite) and EK Success Tools dies have been compact for easy storage. I have purchased three different forms of Uchida and all three are quite bulky but vary in size depending on the size ordered. As far as ease of use goes, you need to put in some effort. I use these perforators on thick cardstock and have to rely on the perforator to work. Cardboard cutting is also choppy and not smooth like my Little b. There is no fuse on the punch but there is a protective cover over the blade. Unfortunately I find this safety feature annoying as I have to move it back and forth after each shot and sometimes have to catch a cut out shape. In general, I will try to avoid this brand when buying in the future.
