A friend had taken the time to assemble and paint a couple of beach themed Adirondack chairs for our anniversary. We would use them on the deck, fold them up and store them after each use to avoid sun damage to the paint job. We decided to get "smart" or just got lazy and thought we will just by covers for them. After 1 use in a 70 degree Minnesota sun day, the inner waterproof lining peeled off all over the chair. (see image). What you see in the image is after at least 2 hours of painstakingly trying to peel it off without damaging the chairs. I am not so sure I will be as lucky removing the last sections. (Yes, the paint and lacquer had sufficiently dried as it had been months)If you want to risk your furniture by buying these, I would suggest using them inside out. They look a little dumb that way, but it is better than spending your precious deck time obsessively peeling off cover lining off the chair you wanted to relax in.
