Almost what I expected. It's not too thick but has some firmness. I have a table with a metal top and it sticks to it perfectly without moving. I like that it didn't need to be straightened even though it was folded. There was minimal lift in a turn, but I still have something in that turn. Smooth, mouse moves well over it, and my keyboard doesn't move much unless I move it on purpose. I don't know how long the stitching on the outside will last but I'm still giving it 5 stars because it was a fantastic price and it came with two pads. It's hard to beat the combination of quality and price if it was just one pad, let alone two.
