In short, if you are using a Mac, be aware that the camera and microphone will not work. I received this monitor today and was impressed with how easy it was to assemble. However, I immediately found that my MacBook Air 2018 / any video software e.g. B. FaceTime, Google Meet, etc., cannot recognize the camera or microphone on the Dell monitor, only the speaker. I looked at the Dell support page for this product and found that the camera and microphone require drivers to work and only windows drivers are offered. To confirm my fears I called Dell and they confirmed that the monitor is not Mac compatible. This is very disappointing, especially since I took the time to speak to a Dell sales rep who confirmed it was Mac compatible before I spent over $300 on it. I'll send it back immediately.
