Review on Red And Black Craftsman Air Impact Wrench CMXPTSG1004NB by Don Olsen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Superior than its predecessors

Replaced a 10 year old Craftsman air impact wrench with this and so glad I did. The quality is much better this time around and even looks more expensive. Unlike the old style, this is a solid metal body construction with barely any plastic components which unfortunately bring the weight up but is definitely worth it. There's an added 5 speed settings switch this time around and a push button for changing directions vs a thin plastic lever. Other than that the specs are virtually the same required 90 PSI and outputting a max torque of 400 ft lbs. Connected nicely and worked with no issues as expected. Very excited for this new replacement and highly recommend it especially since it comes with a 3 year warranty.

Pros
  • Ideal for automotive repairs, heavy machinery maintenance, and other professional applications
Cons
  • The instructions for assembling and using the wrench may be difficult or confusing for some users
