I bought these so I can tell my key fob from jeep without looking at the keys. I thought the size would be the main difference, but there is a tactile difference as well. The rubber is very pleasant to the touch, smooth and at first glance it is not obvious that this is not a keychain without a case. The lugs on the lock button are a nice touch that makes it easy to lock my Jeep without having to think about which button I'm pushing. The rubber is flexible enough to make it easier to press the key fob's buttons. The top of the lid is closed in such a way that I don't have to worry about the key falling out even if the key loop is torn off.
