Terrible rope. I have no complaints about the clips but the rope is terrible. You might be able to attach something to the back of your truck, but that's about it. This rope has a terrible bend which makes it extremely difficult to dismantle, especially if you are trying to get on the stand in the dark and be as quiet as possible. You will spend more time and noise disassembling this rope and trying to untangle it than the cheap price is worth. My suggestion: Find a flat nylon tension band at your local electronics store, it's a bit pricey but it doesn't tangle and will hold the knot in place. Sure it's white, but $3 fabric paint will solve that problem.
