The best option I could find for wrought iron stairs on one side of the stairs and walking on the other. My apartment was built in 1974 and it was very difficult for me to find a baby gate. I bought Y-adapters in two packs from the same company, thanks to them the gate system worked for our house. Note: The photos show gates with Y adapters.
