First shipment was well packaged but had to return due to a manufacturing defect (extensions could not fit into main gate due to incorrect pre-made holes). Second shipment was not packaged well (see picture) and some zip ties were already broken off, so the parts were loose in a box too big. Bought for a barrier between kitchen and playroom for our 2 year old who had been breaking through the older baby gate. We wanted to screw it into the wall to make sure it held up to her craziness. Recently, my boy dog started hating my mom's boy dog. One emergency vet visit later, we were desperate for a solution. We bought kennels (at the advice of dog trainer) to keep the dogs in when they started to be grumpy, and would lock the boys in separate rooms when we were gone, but it was absolutely miserable. We placed this at the top of our stairs. We have molding and wood work that I was afraid would prevent installation but the mounts are very flexible in where you place them. Sturdy and well built, highly recommended!

Well-made and solved the problem beautifully. Shuts itself just as it says, or holds itself open if you open the door all the way.

This gate took several hours to put up mainly do to the fact that the side the gate was up against has a small molding so was not flat. Had to add a 2x4. After that, it was easy to install. Latch works but no matter what, I pull latch back AND have to lift the gate slightly. It does swing shut and latch. Overall, it is doing what it should.keeping my dog safe.

This gate gets a 10 out of 10. But sadly the rating only goes to 5 stars. Easy to put in locks really well. its very sturdy and it looks sleek. Super easy to open and close, can be opened and closed with 1 hand.

This gate is great. It was easy to install and very sturdy. I like that it is able to extend 38 inches. I am able to install it anywhere in the house.

Bought other baby gates in the past that are less expensive and much more durable. Thought the look of this gate better suited our style. But will return to using less expensive, not as pretty, but much more durable baby gate

OK I want to first off by saying oh I love this product. Now I don’t have the pleasure of being a parent. I am a dog dad. The product was so easy to install. It was amazing but it didn’t become easy to install until later down the line, there’s something that was on my gate that said do not cut off until after the gate is installed. And I cut it off before the gate was installed so You’re going to love this product. Just don’t be an LJ and cut the tag off before it’s installed. Lol.

Bought this for when I watch Rover dogs and need to keep my cat and the dog separate. It is located on the bottom of my stairs and works great (minus one dog jumping over, but he was a tall/athletic dog). Installation was not too difficult, just read the instructions and pay attention to the different width measurements if you have a baseboard.

I was a bit worried that I would have trouble based on the 3 star and below reviews. I wasn't installing onto drywall but on newel posts preventing new puppy from going downstairs. Not sure why some had issues with the cups not being secure with different widths. The width of my posts differed from top and bottom. The cups adjust to the needed width. I got this gate to keep my 17 lb dog in my laundry room at night. I don't have a good place to put a cage and she does better when the door to the room is open. I love that I didn't have to screw the gate into the doorway and I can still open and close the door to the room as needed. I also can leave the gate open during the day for easy access to the room.
