I bought these for a trip to Mexico where we explored many waterfalls. These shoes were the only ones that didn't slip on most of the rocks (of course some rocks were very slippery). My feet were comfortable all the time and small rocks never hit. Then we drove into a town with rough cobblestone streets and very sloping hills. My feet were still so comfortable! The shoes were completely dry overnight or within 10 minutes. under a hair dryer. They were definitely put to the test day in and day out for a week. I am also getting another pair to wear at home.
