Wanted lights to string from our new pergola without unsightly power cords. As I wanted solar mounted up high on top of the pergola, I needed a way to turn the lights on and off from the ground. A remote control. I also desired a timer for the lights. Not just dusk to dawn. Not only doses this product meet all of these wants, there is an additional feature.you can change the brightness of these Edison style bulbs. I also needed to shorten the length of the string by 3 bulbs for my installation design. Contacted the seller and was told no problem. Just seal the end of the end of the cut cord with a quality all weather caulk. Did so, worked perfect. To to date I am extremely happy with these lights. They look great and having a full function remote control is something you will really appreciate.
