Warning bad style changes

I've worn multiple versions of this shoe with no problems. However these shoes have style changes which I don't like and they hurt so much I just bought a pair of the previous version to use in the future. Changes: already, tongue is huge so it's banging against shins, pointy heel is uncomfortable, and I don't know what else they've done that makes my hip, knee, and shins so sore. I tried hoping they would break in but to no avail. Photos next to my 34s.
