Bought this to check on my cats after a few days out of town. I've asked someone to come and feed and drink them, but I still want to make sure everything is okay and the kitten isn't bothering the two girls. It's very useful. I can connect to the camera from anywhere. When I talk to Koa, he runs to the camera so I can make sure he's not picking on girls. Night vision works great too. I can't talk about the motion detection as I haven't set it up to alert me to the motion detection. Since I have it for cats, it turns off CONSTANTLY. Although I have no reason to doubt that it works. I can also record onto a micro card and hear what's going on in the room. Excellent purchase.
