Review on Trimax TAR300 Anti Rattle Receiver Locking by Josh Lewis

I used this hitch to attach a bike rack to my camper van. It was easy to install and I think it's anti-theft. BUT my advice is to ditch the supplied stamped metal "wrench" right away and use a regular handyman/mechanic wrench - I use a ratchet wrench which works great. When I first used the supplied wrench it was so poorly made that the jaws opened when the clutch nut was tightened so it was useless at that point. To make matters worse, the wrench "burred" on the hex nut (which is plated in soft metal, definitely not SS!), preventing my socket wrench from fitting. I had to buy a file to remove burrs. If you don't already have a 3/4" wrench, the cost of purchasing a wrench will need to be added to the cost of the hitch. Or look for a better key.
