This camera is ideal for kids because of its ruggedness and fun features. I'm not very good with cameras myself. After reading the simple instructions, I found it easier to operate the camera. I would recommend this camera for ages 3+. There are many options in this camera and they can be more difficult for a young mind. The basics of the camera are easy to use (how to take a photo, view an image in the gallery, turn on filters, connect to charge, etc.). Here is a video on screen cleaning. It actually looks better than it looks. Unfortunately, the video from the screen is not always very clear. There are many filter options and the use of AI for object recognition. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to explore all the options available. I live in the US and the app compatible with this particular device is not allowed to be downloaded in the US (Apple or Android). I wish I could take full advantage of photography and then view it on another device for printing. Overall a good camera for those outside of the US who can download the app. I have used Dragon Touch products in the past and have always had great results.
