I needed a machine that was more powerful than my laptop without having to spend a lot of money. So I had to choose Desktop for this option. It completely exceeds my expectations when it comes to editing, working, multitasking, etc. I would give this PC 5 stars if that were the case. However, here are all my negatives. This computer came with a faulty keyboard and I have emailed SkyTech 3 but received no solution and only one reply (it will be almost 3 weeks since I received this computer). Luckily I had a Bluetooth keyboard, but it's not very good. So here comes the terrible rating for customer service. Now for the rest. I've always been a console gamer, but I was itching to try the PC. It turns out. It worked wonderfully. I was able to get 120fps on Ultra settings in Gears 5 with my 1080p 144Hz monitor. However, after one to two hours of testing. It started to lag a lot. I turned it off and fell asleep thinking about it. I was curious about the cooling system and it turns out that after loading Core Temp this computer reached 90 degrees Celsius (recommended for AMD Ryzen processors not to exceed 85)! NO WONDER! I totally destroyed my processor without even knowing it! I then booted up Argus Monitor to manually set the fan speed to 100% and it still went to 90 degrees Celsius! Of course, like everyone else, I adjusted the settings below to where it works best without overheating and got to 83 degrees Celsius on medium settings with 90 fps. This whole process of learning PC games took a huge toll on my CPU, I hope I didn't do any permanent damage. So now I've just bought a Noctua NH-U12A CPU fan (on top of everything else I had to spend $100), hopefully this will fix this problem. Be careful! While this PC brings in respectable numbers, the cooling system is completely unreliable. my judgement. I still haven't received an email from them or a new keyboard to use this computer properly. Second, don't let the cooling system fool you. The RGB colors look cool, but the CPU fan isn't reliable enough to get the maximum performance from the computer.) I average 55 degrees Celsius just browsing the web. If I ever get an answer about a keyboard and/or a new CPU fan, I'll let you know. Rating: 2 stars EDIT: after contacting support and further investigation. Nvidia requires the RTX 2070 to have at least a 550W power supply. This has 500 watts. So upgrading my fan wasn't an option unless I bought a power supply. Very upset with the situation and received no email in response. I decided to contact the chat. After a few hours of waiting and further research, my stars go up to 4, but I'll loosen this pc up a bit. all right) works great. My CPU problem: Customer service advised me to download CPUID HWMonitor. monitoring your temperature. The problem with high CPU temps is that one of my cores called TMPIN7 seems to be blown out compared to the other my cores. This core is about 10-20 degrees higher than the rest. Customer service says it's quite normal to have a weird kernel for the CPU and if you look online it looks like most computers have a weird one Kernel that works differently. However, my cores average 50C while gaming perfectly on the Gears 5 at 120fps Ultra settings. Disable VSync on Gears now because for some reason the game lags after 90fps and doesn't look smooth. The only thing that doesn't work 100% is that my game lags a bit when the framerate reaches 130 when I want to set "uncapped" FPS. I don't care, but it's still weird. Anyway, all this could be solved if I knew CPUIDHWMonitor. An ideal PC in terms of value for money. If you've ever downloaded games, for some reason my RAM got really high, up to 99% RAM usage when editing in Premiere Pro, and I didn't have any games. The solution is to go to the task manager, then right click and end the task for the apps you don't want to be running in the background. I thought that I need to buy more RAM. CPU heating issue: fixed. FPS on Gears 5: (120fps) Fixed RAM capacity usage: Fixed.
