First off, this speaker sounds great. The overall sound is very balanced. It can also deliver decent volume and bass for a 4-inch speaker. But the real reason I bought it is because it's one of the few speakers on the market that can be attached to a mantle mount TV wall mount. I don't want to use any of those fuax speakers with surround sound amplification. And I already had Polks speakers for the rest of my surround sound. Make sure the bracket is in place and make sure the speaker isn't vibrating. The speaker is thick enough that you can't use the handle to pull out the mantle mount for anything other than pushing it back. But you can still reach the sides of the speaker rail and use it to pull the bracket down.
