I don't know why people have trouble fitting this part (e.g. breaking mounting bolts). Removing the old headlight housing is the hardest part of the job, and it wasn't even that bad. My advice when installing and not breaking the mounting studs as some have mentioned is to align the studs before installing and make sure they go straight. The studs are adjustable, so line them up with the holes in the bumper and press firmly. They will be inserted. Piston Body Removal Tip: Remove the bulb, use a straight screwdriver and try to pry it out with your thumb, or like I did with 2 of the 3 pins, twist the screwdriver, stretch and snap the plastic tabs. Demonstratively painful to shoot. For what it's worth, I suggest taking a minute (seriously, that's as long as it takes) and aligning the cleats before trying to push and take your time. EDIT: one more thing. This was installed on my 2006 Explorer. Some of the reviews on here talk about the mounting tabs breaking and I have no idea how this happens when the bolts are misaligned. Also, do not attempt to remove or unscrew the mounting pins. I think one of the 1 star ratings says something about bolt twisting. Don't do that, man, come on. Lots of videos online on how to change. I just covered it up and it came out perfect. Hope this helps someone.
