I had some difficulties with the product as mentioned in another review where the wicks were tipped into the oil. It was the first and second night of Hanukkah. On the evening of the third I tried the following. Insert the wick into the disc so that half or slightly less than half of the wick is protruding from the surface of the cork disc. Now insert the open part of the wick above the disc into the supplied tweezers. Hold the collected wick in the disc assembly about 1-2 inches above the surface of the oil and release. If you get it right (it doesn't take much practice) the disc lands gently without breaking the oil's surface tension, but the wick on the bottom allows capillary action to pull the oil into the wick. I wait 5 minutes and then I go to light the Hanukkah fire for myself. This works very well for me. A good product that goes one step up.
