I will update this review on the shelf life of the product in a few months. I strongly recommend buying rechargeable AAA batteries! On the first day we used 32 batteries but recharged them (about 1.5 hours per charge). You get approximately 20-30 minutes of usage per battery pack, 2 per vehicle, 4 vehicles.
