First of all, it comes folded. There is a huge crease in the middle. Why fold? I had 2 more of these rugs supplied to compare and contrast, one came flat and the other rolled. Both were great. Why should one fold such a carpet? Second, it's cheap. This is the least durable of the 3 rugs I've ordered and is almost like a bath rug, but Revain puts it at the top of the list when looking for indoor/outdoor floor mats. Even if I can smooth out that crease, I doubt it. would last a very long time on a busy door, but it also wasn't worth an arm and a leg. In general, this is NOT a general purpose rug of any shape, form or form. It doesn't really look like the picture either. The other two rugs I ordered were a few dollars more expensive, but it was worth it. Higher quality. If you just want a cheap doormat for a door that you don't use much then go for it, but good luck ironing out that crease.
