Review on 🎨 ColorIt Mandalas III Adult Coloring Book: 50 Single-Sided Designs | Premium Quality | Lay Flat | Spiral Bound by Shantel Griffin

While I LOVE ♡ some ColorIt products - they are my basis for other books - this one was sadly missing. I love her Mandela so much that I bought both previous books twice (I finally decided to scan the photos on my second purchase). I asked her for something else. I was happy when I found that the new one was released and ordered immediately. But I was very disappointed as I flipped through the pages. Unfortunately, this book will most likely be used to print scanned/downloaded images on the back rather than colorizing the included drawings. It was a complete 180° change from previous designs in each category. MUCH thicker lines, too many dark areas, a design that didn't grab me at all. There were literally 3, THREE in total, I hesitantly pulled out to try with no desire to scan the 1st for future repeats. The description claims they were drawn by the same artists as the other two, but I don't see any resemblance in style. It's hard to believe that some people suddenly changed their style from an elegant, beautifully drawn design to something that looks like it was created by a newbie/union. I see no experience, story, feeling, narrative, meaning etc behind these images. My disappointment is admittedly exaggerated by my expectations and love for Mandelas. I'm not a fan of the collection of drawings, so I'd rather not buy them and don't leave comments. Just not to my liking. But that style is what defines this book. He had the same squat, simple, disorganized, thoughtless "beginner" style of painting. Reading other reviews I realized that I wasn't the only one who was disappointed and will try not to accept this in the future. from buying the products they make that I REALLY care about. They are and will always be my basis of comparison with other products and remain number 1 on my "Best" list. I would just like to buy another book from them that I wanted instead.
