I have a 20 year old Model 317 (the previous model but almost identical). It was a horse and it still works today, but it broke the seal when I mistakenly plugged it in to 175psi. It now idles at 200-300 rpm but otherwise has trigger control and works for heavy chopping. I bought it to fine grind and grind welds where I need more control. It's very smooth and powerful. feel and quality. The price is fair and in my opinion very close to what I paid for the 317 20 years ago. I recommend replacing the included ribbed support pads with a 5" support pad from 3M, which is more flexible and can be trimmed if needed. Revan too.
