This is a very cute shark towel. The product page describes it as a thick material and I would describe it as a microfiber material and about as thick as most towels I've bought for kids before. The design and color matched the description. The hooded towel piece is adorable as it looks like your baby's head is in the shark's mouth, which my nephew loved. The towel material dries very quickly. It also folds well and won't take up much space when packed in a bag or luggage. Another reason I love these hooded towels is that since your child is wearing a towel, they are less likely to be left behind. The only negative I could find with this product is that if you are a gift and love the product tags, there are no tags to indicate it is new. If you left it in your bag when wrapping the gift, that's the best way to know it's new.
