These covers are wonderful. I now have 3. even though I live in Florida they aren’t overly warm but wow are they soft and comforting. Like sleeping on a cloud of kittens. The ties are much needed because your comforter will slide around. The underside is a super soft fleece. This is the dense fake fur, it’s a long thread soft light shag.To care for these, turn them inside out and zip up when you wash. Use low heat in the dryer, they dry pretty fast. I never thought I’d love these as much as I do. They also have the pillow covers in their store.Edit: this is the best quality of this type of cover I’ve found. It’s exceptionally soft. As an FYI, when washing, besides washing inside out and drying on low heat, don’t use liquid fabric softener. I’ve noticed it changes the feel. It doesn’t absorb so it can make it feel matty. I just washed it twice with oxiclean and it’s back to its original condition.
