A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

WD Caviar Blue WD10EZEX 1 TB, often commonly referred to as plain EZEX; known as the "Workhorse" of many PCs on the Seven. It is possible that this is the most well-known model of hards; nonetheless, despite the fact that a large number of reviews have been published about it, it deserves to be brought up. To begin, this VD box is ideal for practically everything that the ordinary user requires, including not only the system itself but also the storage of files and video games. It works wonderfully with older versions of Windows (XP, 7, and 8) and Linux, but I'm not sure if it will function properly as a system drive with the newer version of Windows 10. I believe that LTSB and LTSC will also be "chewed" by it. As a result of ates and services, there is reduced load. A short amount of time in service and potential for increased noise are two of the potential drawbacks. Well, that is, if you really find fault with it. The "blue" line of VD-nis only adds ten years to the total. If someone else's hard drive lasted longer, then you're in fortunate; nevertheless, to be safe, it's best to back up your vital data to another drive just in case. The first copy I had worked for seven years before I started getting check-ins, bsodes, and eventually Game Over messages. Yet, this is partially due to the fact that I took advantage of him to the greatest possible extent. If it is used in a manner that is less harsh, it has a lifespan of ten years. The most significant drawback is the rise in cost. Despite the fact that users of terabytes found it to be of very little significance, $500-$800 is still money. In 2022, I paid close to 2,600 dollars for mine to be purchased. At the moment, the price is approximately 3,000.

Pros
  • The price to quality ratio is excellent, the drive spins up rapidly after hibernation, and it is ideal for use as a system drive for the Windows operating system. It is simple to locate for purchase at a wide variety of different computer shops.
Cons
  • A little bit noisy while under load, but much quieter than the Japanese; price went up a little bit (in May 2022); I wish it had a longer service life.
