I bought various straps, buckles and D-rings from places like Straps but decided to take a chance as I only needed a few straps and didn't want to spend a lot on shipping. After spending about 30 minutes sewing a strap, I decided to check out the side buckle. When trying to fasten the buckle, it shattered into pieces. I've used 1" plastic buckles that were stronger than these! Pathetic performance and strength. I doubt they can handle 30lbs of pressure. D-rings aren't welded and don't appear to be zinc plated or rustproof so aren't for Marine applications or high strength suitable possibly a belt clip or holder Probably worth $10 for what you get but the clasps are basically useless I don't recommend it and I need to buy something else to complete my project and have about 30 Minutes spent sewing a strap.
