Cats need a grooming routine and these small, inexpensive combs easily remove scattered, itchy hair from their face, chin and ears. Our cats rarely get fleas, but I keep a comb in my bag to use in any room or to visit other cats. Cheaper at the pet store, now harder to find. I want the teeth to be closely spaced on either side since I don't use the wider side. Holding the comb at a 45 degree angle around the face and neck feels right, and the shallower angle along the back and legs still removes loose hair and feels comfortable for the cat. Teeth start to break after prolonged use, but combs are still good and softer than metal ones.
