I fully expected to have to deal with his whining but surprisingly he was well seated. Now he sits next to him from time to time, but he's still in custody and I can drive safely. He also lies down to sleep with plenty of space and can stand and still look out the window. I'm a Maltese mom and he weighs around 8-10 pounds.
