Do you have hungry teenagers at home? Do you eat cereal, pasta, rice, soup, ice cream and yogurt? Do you need bowls that can be heated in the microwave? These are very roomy bowls with a good size for all your needs. I found other bowls that were too small (actually dessert bowls, although they said they were cereal bowls). Other bowls are not microwavable and we needed new bowls because our old plastic bowls that were not microwavable fell apart when used in the microwave. These bowls are just right for all of our purposes and all of our family members.
