Mesh lining in my head

I ordered one of these last summer and it's the only one my child will wear. I ordered one this summer and it now has a mesh lining on the inside of the hat. She refuses to wear it and the mesh is not visible in the photos. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Pros

Adjustable so my 2 year old can wear it and my 4 year old has it too. They repel water and block the sun as described.

Cons

The hat may not be breathable enough in hot weather.
